2003 Proposed Bills

Underlined bills are CCS initiated. Several bills proposed below have little specific language;  For those that we have a position, we have added SUPPORT or OPPOSE. Keep abreast by using regularly the Legislative Website http://www.cga.state.ct.us/ and for contacting your legislators. Statutory language can be found by clicking on highlighted bill # then clicking on Raised Bill [pdf] Newer bills have higher numbers.

Not Addressed/DEAD means the Committee didn't address the bill or if it had a Public Hearing it was not placed on the Agenda for evaluation for JF (Joint Favorable report) to keep the bill moving.

File copy or Number is the actual language that will be debated on the floor of the House or Senate.

Remember, Nothing is ever Dead until the end of the session.
